Who We Are

THT Axis (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates thtaxis.com and develops WordPress plugins under the Axis Suite brand. Our registered business operates under THTAXIS. For privacy matters, contact us at terry@thtaxis.com.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Name and email address when you make a purchase or contact us
  • Payment information — processed securely by Paddle (our Merchant of Record). We do not store card details
  • Website URL provided at licence registration
  • Support correspondence
  • Basic analytics data (page views, referral sources) via standard WordPress and server logs

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Process your purchase and deliver your licence
  • Send licence keys, receipts, and purchase confirmation
  • Provide customer support
  • Send important updates about your purchased plugins (security patches, major updates)
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising purposes.

Plugin Data Collection

Our WordPress plugins may collect the following data on your customers’ sites:

  • AxisAdvisor — chat conversation content, lead capture data (name, email) submitted voluntarily by your site visitors. This data is stored in your WordPress database and is never transmitted to THT Axis servers.
  • AxisSurveys — survey responses submitted by your employees or users. Stored in your WordPress database. If you use the AI insights feature, anonymised aggregated response data is sent to Anthropic’s API for analysis.
  • AxisLeads / AxisBacklinks — publicly available data from RSS feeds. No personal data from your site visitors is collected.
  • AxisLedger / AxisFilter — no customer data transmitted externally.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Paddle — payment processing and Merchant of Record. See Paddle’s privacy policy at paddle.com/privacy
  • Anthropic — AI features in AxisAdvisor and AxisSurveys use the Claude API. See Anthropic’s privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy
  • Hostgator / Cloudflare — website hosting and DNS

Data Retention

We retain purchase and licence records for 7 years for tax and legal compliance purposes. Support correspondence is retained for 3 years. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time, subject to our legal retention obligations.

Your Rights

Under applicable privacy laws (including POPIA for South African residents and GDPR for EU residents), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to processing of your data
  • Data portability

Cookies

thtaxis.com uses minimal cookies necessary for the site to function. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. WordPress sets a session cookie for logged-in users only.

Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Licence keys are stored encrypted. Payment data is handled entirely by Paddle and never touches our servers.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email to licence holders. Continued use of our services following notification constitutes acceptance.
